SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the substantial number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The services point established for intervention activities a substantial influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the office to attend to SRD all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to empower click here the servicing of all customers and raise access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
